A horse, helmets, and boots are available for use during lessons. However, I can’t guarantee that the helmets and boots will fit the rider, so it is best to come prepared.
All people at the barn, riding or not, must wear sturdy closed toe shoes without steel toes. Those riding must additionally have a heel at least 1 to 1.5 cm tall.
There are more helmet sizes at the barn than boot sizes, but if you intend to ride for more than a couple of weeks, you should purchase a helmet meant specifically for horseback riding. They can cost as little as $50.
Finally, come ready to learn! Once you have registered, I will send you an email before your first lesson with all the information you will need.
